A growing personal care manufacturer is seeking an Office and Accounts Payable Manager to support operations in the greater Carson, CA area.
Position Summary
This role oversees daily office operations while leading accounts payable functions. The position ensures accurate financial processing, strong internal controls, and an efficient, well-run workplace. Ideal for a hands-on leader with accounting expertise and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounts payable including invoices, vendor management, and payments (checks, ACH, wires, 1099s)
Lead a small AP team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient workflows
Reconcile bank statements and corporate credit cards; investigate discrepancies
Review expenses, freight bills, and financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Maintain asset tracking, financial records, and reporting accuracy
Oversee office operations including vendors, facilities, leases, and services
Supervise administrative staff and support onboarding, scheduling, and office setup
Drive process improvements and system enhancements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience in accounts payable, financial operations, or office management
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel skills
Solid understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and banking transactions
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
